I don't really know when this was introduced but I came across Tuborg Green recently. Available in pint as well as regular green nice looking bottles, it has a cool cap opener attached to it. So you don't really have to look around for an opener(though I dont mind it but still like this new arrangement).
Now this is a Pilsner with 4.6% alcohol so it is in really mild catagory. Its lable says Denmark Copenhegen, though it is manufactured in Rajasthan and marketed in India by Carlsberg India(also known as South Asian Breweries).
It tastes really good and is carbonated quite well. Both pint and regular have same quality but it certainly tastes better if taken directly from the pint bottle. The packaging(cool green) is attractive and even though it is mild somehow it is able to make you feel it faster than most other mild brands.
Priced moderately(Rs 40 for a pint and 75 for 650 ml) in Mumbai, it is not too hard on pocket unlike Corona. Though I still long for the Delhi rates which are at least 30% lower compared to Mumbai rates.
I find it good for all occasions and it is slowly becoming my regular brand though I think availability is still not that good.
Do try it. You wont be disappointed.
