I know we have all seen the ads for treeloot.com (I know at first they were very interesting to me) - if you punch the Monkey you will win $20.00 and variations on this theme. One day I was bored so I decided, why not, I can win something maybe and it looks like fun. I guess I should have read some reviews about this site before I decided to waste my time with it.

First, you will notice that even if you don't get anywhere near the little monkey it will still say that you win. I tried this myself and I was right about it, all you need to do is click anywhere inside the banner and you will be considered a winner.

After you have shot him (or punched him - or even just clicked the banner) it will take you to https://treeloot.com and there in front of you is a tree with about 250,000 squares and chances to win up to $300,000 (although I have never know anyone who won any actual money from this site). The directions are very simple though, ''Click a square and see what you win.'' Sounds easy enough.

Encouraging Monkey

Yes, he seems to be encouraging you. When you do pick a square and lose he will inspire you to try again (over and over again). I have seen a timed game where you can win everything that you collect within a 15 minute period and in these he will say try again you have __ minutes left to play. I have also seen this not timed also where you can keep going as long as you want. But the more that you play and don't click on an advertiser the more annoyed the monkey will get with you. I have seen him say: ''Click on the sponsor and have a better chance of winning'' - or something close to that.

Yes, I am sure how they make their money is through advertisers (like most sites that are free do) but it can be annoying have a monkey tell you to visit their sponsors.

Banana Bucks

Now this is what most people win (if they win anything at all). If you sign up for an account (make sure to read the TOS because they state in there that they will give your information to their sponsors) then you can collect Banana Bucks for special items that you can buy in their store. Mostly what I saw you can get are magazine subscriptions with your Banana Bucks (but I have heard there are other things you can get as well from their sponsors).

Playing

Yes this can be a very addictive game because you want to try to win something. I played for about an hour and never won anything other than the $20.00 I won from clicking on the banner (I know other people might have better luck than me so I just say I'm not a very lucky person there).

In the end I never did register for the $20.00 that I had won because I figured it wasn't worth the extra junk mail that I would receive and I did have a good time while I was playing because I wasn't expecting to win anything anyway just something to do instead of being bored all day.

So if your bored and want to spend some time playing with a little monkey and don't expect to get rich from it then you can lose yourself here but don't get too excited about winning (I know I didn't and that's why I wasn't so disappointed in the end).
