Recently, as part of the company's yearly excursion, after much deliberation, hired this firm for approx 750 members to go to various places in north India (hill stn). The first two batches of 45 and 50 persons respectively went to places near Shimla. We started our journey from Gurgoan and Noida on Friday (21st Sep) night, our nightmare started along with it.
Journey By Bus : We have asked for Volvo buses during discussions and citing the hilly area, the company provided normal buses. Thank god that buses were in working condition and didn't broke-down otherwise nothing else in the bus was working normallly. AC was working but without temp control, so you can either keep it on or off. There was no music system in the bus, hence no fun. And worst part, the bus was too noisy with worst shock-abs so you can guess.
Enroute : By morning 8 we touched Simla. still some 60KMs left for our destination Naldehra. As part of deal, Travelmasti was supposed to provide us Bfast, but he opted not to stop bus. Gave stupid reasons like if we are late, hotel checkin will have issues. Bfast is arranged at hotel. When I forced one bus driver to stop at a dhaba, finally the bus coordinator told that we need to pay on our own. This kind of professionalism is maintained by this company.
Stay at Naldehra : Stay was good, thanks to the resorts.
team building activities (as per contract) - Very unprofessional. They brought in some stupid fool guys to handle these activities. First activity of flying-fox, they tied ropes on two trees on a hill, first person started and as the rope could not take that much load, the person got dragged on the hill. Again somehow after re-tying the rope 4-5 people had done that. Meanwhile the other team which went to Mashobra thru this vendor only, informed that one person fell from 12 ft ht while doing rock-climbing. Instantly we all thought not to take risk with these un-professional bunch of fools and stopped all activities.
After that also, nothing is good with these folks.
After coming back, provided feedback and thrown out this company. Big loss to Travelmasti which they deserve.
