I just did test drive of Toyota Corolla Altis in AT version at 14 lakhs on road.
Too expensive when one looks at any AT, so with this 1.8 V 170 nm @ 4200, its great power with less of fuel consumption compared with Civic, I guess.
But I was comparing with Honda City 1.5AT which has quite similar power, with more mileage, and more interiors and of course 4 lakhs cheaper.
So after this test drive, I don’t recommend this car while would recommend Honda City 1.5 AT
Anyway, we did 3 long test drives on manual and automatic same day and same stretch, to see the ups/ downs.the Automatic version is just great, it makes you left hand totally free and left leg free, giving you 50% of your body actually there to enjoy! the Automatic version makes you feel like you are driving your Throne around your Kingdom and everyone around says "SALAAM"
The pick and acceleration is great, even on uphill and downhill, you don’t need to push more of power. The Displays are good and seat(driver) on self owner is also excellent. Rear Seat has good Leg Height and are all comfortable. Inside is abs silent. Brakes very efficient, with ABS and EBD.ECU engine immobile are good add ons. One thing about others reviews, now this model has Alloy Wheels as standard. I like the black and Red pearl colors, they are stunning!
Front Fog lamps, silver finishing on the inner door handles are new features.
I am checking out the prices and discounts, so final decision in a day, Anyone: your special comments and those who have already bought, do you agree/ disagree? Lets share info.-
