I had been a frequent buyer of this mall (Madiwala) due to its proximity from my home. But lately I am seeing some very strange trends. Let me share some of them:
Firstly it becomes so overcrowded in the weekends that you will almost feel like trapped in an enclosed hot chamber (AC works only in few places, other places they have fans)! So much that one can often you will feel suffocated and hot.
The problem with most of these stores are the floor staffs. I don't understand who recruits them and for what purpose. You ask them any basic questions about a product- they are blank! These problem is prevalent here too. They stand in their respective department, without knowing anything about where and which product is available. They never seems to co operate if you have a question and it looks like as if they mean only to gaze at the customer and notice his/her activity.
Non Veg section: One of the most chaotic sections of the mall. If you buy sea food, you have to keep an eye on your catch, as they don't have any token system. You may end up getting and paying for someone else purchase. This can happen with the other meat products as well.
The most important thing: In this Non Veg section itself you may be often harassed by the staffs to produce your bill again, if you have already billed the item thinking you to be a shoplifter. It seems like, this department staffs have some physic problem. They treat every customer as a suspect and is always looking for a chance to stop people and question them harshly.
They behave very rudely with the customers and even if you produce the bill, they will show no empathy or courtesy to the customer. Not even a single 'Thank You.'
Surely they might have been badly robbed once, but if it has actually happened is this the way to check it?Install cameras, have better co -ordination and checks in place, but no- they just want to pass on the bucks to the innocent customers and harass and ridicule them.
- Billing: Long waiting time in the queue, often 30/45 mins on weekdays. That too often you will see there is a mistake in the bill.
