Chandra: Welcome Ladies and Gentlemen to a new and unique episode of “Don’t keep your mouth shut” where we interview the lovely, bold, beautiful and famous to find out their inner secrets! (The bold, lovely and beautiful may not apply to all of the famous!) However, today we have an extra special guest, and this is because our guest isn’t human. In fact our guest isn’t an animal. Actually, our guest isn’t even living. Well, anyway without further ado let me introduce Mr Toblerone.

Mr Toblerone: Hello Chandra, how nice it is to see you with my nutty (literally) eyes. I am very honoured to be a guest on this show.

Chandra: A chocolatey hello to you too Mr Toblerone! Lets go straight to the questions: firstly about your childhood. How did a fine stick of chocolate (which makes my dil go hmm :P) such as yourself come into our wonderful world.

Mr Toblerone: Well the interesting thing is that I am actually named after the God of the toblerones, who lived in Switzerland. His name was Theoder Tobler and he was related to the famous chocolate manufacturer Jean Tobler. This was in 1908, when they suddenly hit upon the idea of mixing their own chocolate with Torrone (An Italian nougat made from honey and almonds!) And therefore my forefathers came into the world as Toblerones and developed to make me, the most popular thing in the world.

Chandra: Mr Toblerone, you are one of the most admired figures in the world. People look at you and your brothers and sisters with a strange kind of longing. They admire your rich variety of milk, white, dark and blue chocolate. They could gaze at your triangular figure for days without moving. Everyone loves you. Tell us the secret of your attraction.

Mr Toblerone: Ah well you see, I don’t like to boast (but he will) but we are an extra special kind of chocolate. Our mortal (not really) chocolate enemies are Cadbury but obviously we are more loved than them because we are the only triangular type chocolate with the finest ingredients: cocoa, milk, almond-nougat and honey. Oh and we were might I add the first chocolate in the market to contain both honey and nuts in such a combination. The other chocolates envy our perfect figures because they are just flat blocks, whilst we have the real shape. We are perfect.

Chandra: (amazed at his arrogance), well obviously Mr Toblerone, you are a popular type of chocolate but how can you possibly know that you are the best?

Mr Toblerone: Our production process is simple but very secretive. Our cocoa beans are taken from the finest areas of Brazil and then go through simple manufacturing processes with the right ingredients to produce me. And not to mention my smooth texture, little peaks and bumps and wonderful shape.

Chandra: (very annoyed at his arrogance) Hmm…. the final question (at last): what varieties are you available in?

Mr Toblerone: Well obviously a gorgeous chocolate such as myself needs different outfits: let me see we have dark chocolate, white, milk and even a new one called blue. We are also available in different sizes: large, medium and small. And then sometimes we are mixed together instead of individually. Whatever it is, we are the best chocolates in the world.

Chandra: (with an evil glint in eyes) Well, we’ve found out about your history, your present, your texture and your outlook. But we know nothing about your taste. So how do you suggest we find out?

Mr Toblerone: What do you mean? What are you…..

Chandra, unable to resist her temptation, snatches the toblerone, breaks it up into pieces and eats it! :P

Chandra: Yum yum! Toblerones taste delicious. Their creamy chocolate mixed with nuts and honey adds the extra flavour that every chocolate needs. It has the perfect amount of sugar, and the gorgeous aroma enough to make everyone drool. That concludes our lovely show for today, and we must thank our wonderful guest…half of whom is in my tummy and the other half I have sent to all of you lovely people on MS.

And in case any of you are really very distraught at Mr Toblerone’s tragic death, I must break the news to you: he wasn’t ever alive! If he really were then I wouldn’t have the heart to eat him: I’d just give him to some of my non-vegetarian friends to eat! :P

Have a great day, have fun, have a break, have a toblerone. And enjoy!

Don’t forget to RRC…:-)
