Don't travel by Autorickshaws in Bangalore. Review on Tips on Traveling in Autorickshaws

This is for all those people who travel by autorickshaws or fancy travelling by autorickshaws.This incident happened with me recently.I wanted to go to Indiranagar and come back.So I took this autorickshaw and told him this is a round trip.He didn't mention anything about one and a half fare as it starts only after 10.00 P.M.The time I boarded the auto it was just 8:45 P.M.I went to Indiranagar, the auto had to wait for 10 mins, I finished my work boarded the auto again, came back home.The meter read 78 Rs and I gave him 80 Rs.Then that fellow asks me for 120, saying it was one and a half.My watch showed 9:25.I asked him why one and a half for which he says I had already told you about the fare.He MANHANDLED* me asking for the money.I was shocked.And he also told me that he had waited for half an hour and that I needed to give him another 15 Rs as waiting charges.I argued with him but it was no use.He held my hand and my shirt.I had never experienced this in any city, all my life.At last one person came to my rescue.But even then I ended up paying 100Rs , 22Rs more than the meter.What shocked me was that when I told my family memebers about this and said I'm going to give a Police complaint, everyone said a no to it.I have the number and the name of the auto driver.Can anyone tell me what can I do?Can anyone help me out?If not then just one piece of advice.Never take an auto.And if the circumstances force you to take one clarify the charges that is applicable but betterAlways take ur own vehicle.Atleast in Bangalore.*
