First off all I will suggest you to buy a phone with gorilla glass, this glass protect your phone from scratches. There are some other protective glasses but gorilla glass is best. Before buying any phone check whether it has gorilla glass or not.
If your phone has not gorilla glass then you can use tempered glass screen protectors.
These are available in online as well as local mobile stores. If your smartphone screen has curved edges like Redmi note 4 then please buy a tempered glass which covers screen properly.
