Its the first time I m giving advice on MS. Well the topic may be slightly outdated, but since it is given in the REQUESTED section, so I m writing it.

The examination season is over and the nu session has started. It may be pretty awkward to give an advice on how to study after the exams. But u know it always helps.

B4 beginning, I would like 2 tell u that I am also a student, studying in XII Standard..

I study in CBSE Board and this is my last year in schooling. After this .... u know.

The revu requested was ''HOW TO STUDY''. Infact, in my opinion, it depends partially on the fact that ur school is affiliated to which board? CBSE and ICSE, as u know, r the 2 main boards of education followed by schools in India. Others r affiliated 2 state boards.

As my dad has got a transferrable job, we move from place 2 place. As a consequence, I studied in ICSE school till 7th Std. and then onwards till now, I m in CBSE. In 6th itself, the ICSE seperates its science and Social science subjects (PCB and HCG). So the detailed knowledge starts from 6th itself. So of course, u need to give more attention. The standard of English in ICSE is also high (in my opinion). That's why I found the english of CBSE quite easy. Infact in CBSE, the subjects get seperated (PCB) IN XI standard. So till X standard, I did'nt face the problem of Time management etc. For preparing for X board u don't actually need to spend sleepless nights. If u just study with full concentration, u will find sci. and maths very easy. I think for X, 6 hours of full fledged studies are enough.

In my opinion, XI is the toughest class u will deal with in CBSE. This is because, there is a sudden jump from one science textbook of 250 pages, to three textbooks of science (PCB) of 400 pages each. The topic u study everyday in the school should be always revised regularly at home. A spl. attention should be given to Biology. Its the toughest as, where other subjects require the understanding of concepts, it requires a deeper knowledge of several terms and ability to visualize all the diagrams instantly. U really need to make the days and nights equal. My sincere advice - DON'T TAKE XI LIGHTLY....

My nu session for XII has started, and I am working hard already.

Hey.. watch out. For competitive exams, just trust ur Textbook.....

So basic thing is - be regular. What has been taught in the school everyday, u should study the sam at home. Don't get carried away by all those news.. Trust only ur studies. Its bcos ur hard work will get u to the top. No need to study 24 hours a day. Just focus and concentrate. May be getting up early (I usually study from 4 in the morning) can help u. Avoid tutions. U will find everything easy if u do it urself. There is no need of tutions and hey... ALL THE BEST.
