Extend Batery Life, minimize the cost f maintenance
Apr 28, 2017 10:23 AM 5430 Views

Dear Friends, Today I will share my experience to extend the life of your car battery and how to you can keep safe the car battery. Please find the some most important tips which are as under:

A. Water Level to be checked quarterly( with in 3 months): It is a good way to keep safe your battery by checking the water level in the battery, the level of water should touch the bottom of the battery's refill hole.

B. Keep Clean the battery terminals: Always keep clean the battery terminals and rub the wire brush by the brush every 6 months so that the dust particle will not collect the terminals.

C. To cover the caps: Always use wet cloth over the caps before charging. This prevent the chances of fire in the battery and also prevent any shorting in the terminals.

D. Always place battery in space: Always place car battery in space and always charge the battery with caps in space also. Do not keep any LPG cylinder or liquid near to the battery.

E. Always use good battery cables: Make sure that battery is secure and has good battery cables which always prevent any short circuit in the battery terminals.

F: Fully charge your car battery at least once a week: car battery drains even when the car is not running so car battery should be charged fully once in week.

So friends, I hope these tips will help to increase your car battery life & reduce maintenance cost.
