Tiger Balm is age old ointment which originated from China. This ointment was used by Chinese emperors. This ointment would have not be know to the world if the chinese herbalist named Aw Chu Kin left the Emperor's court and set up a medicine shop at Rangoon in late 1870. Here he made and sold this wonderful pain relieving ointment.


After his death in 1908, his two sons(Aw Boon Haw meaning'gentle tiger' and Aw Boon Par meaning'gentle leopard') took charge of the business. They decided to establish their business in Singapore which they eventually did and successfully sold the ointment in Singapore, in neighboring countries and in cities of china. Aw Boon Haw is one named the product Tiger Balm. Steadily this ointment was marketed around the globe. the product became a popular in many household around the globe.


Tiger balm long since its invention has been an effective pain reliever. The ointment is used for backache, joint pain, neck and shoulder pain. It is also an effective head ache ointment.


The ointment is very effective and strong. And it relieves us of body pain. No other pain relieving ointments has the strong effect of Tiger balm relie
