We started to Ponmudi at 8:00 am from Trivandrum reached kallar in 1 hrs 30 mts.Kallar is a stream with clear water flowing down from a Water falls. We took bath in the clear water it was very refreshing. After that started to ponmudi took around 30 mts to reach the hill top with 22 hair pin curves.
At the top it was very pleasant weather around 20 degrees we walked around in the greenery sometimes the weather becomes cloudy and mist comes to you it was a great experience. The place is not commercialized so no shops we had taken snacks and lunch with us .There is only one KTDC restaurant where it is crowded and expensive.It is a nice place I really enjoyed my trip.
