The books which leave an imprint on you are the one's that are capable of your worthy praise and only the authors of those corresponding novels should be applauded. Reasons are pretty obvious - because there are too many out there of the same sort and only a few are able to strike a different chord with the audience. Novoneel Chakraborty's novel A Thing Beyond Forever falls into such a category.
A Thing Beyond Forever is among those books which is intensely twisted and till the last page makes you keep guessing as to what might happen next. And surely, Novoneel sir can write. I mean he is a fabuluos writer and a master of twists. By now this is the third novel I have read of him and I am pretty sure to have liked all his upcoming novels as well.
Coming to the story of A Thing Beyond Forever, it is about a girl who immensely loves a boy. But the boy loves someone else. Howvever having been denied of the other girls love, the boy settles for his admirer girl. But is love possible with two people at the same time? Can one simply be attracted to someone and fall in love with someone else? These questions haunt you throughout the book.
In the entire process of reading the book, the author asks certain questions on love, life, relationships, destiny that makes you think hard about the subject. The reader not just reads it but kind of can feel the book asking the questions directly to him/her. I was pretty astounded with the topics brought about in the book and had to literally force myself to forget the book after days of having read it, such is the intensity of the book.
It took me just three days to complete the book. One thing is sure, the style of writing is just superb and simple to understand so you can be assured that there wont be any language problem whatsoever. Moreover the book is a small one so it would merely take a couple of days to finish, however I would insist you to completely understand each phrase in the book rather than hastily finishing it. Try to understand what the author is trying to say and you will have a better experience reading it.
There is nothing negative to say about the book. It is one of the best books that I have read so far and has received great praise after its release by readers nationwide. Its one of the most twisted love stories ever and you have no idea what you are upto once you lay your hands on this book. I recommend it strongly to anyone who loves reading. Go for it blindly.
