I salute the Mouthshut staff for making a platform for us to express our views on the recent Tsunami ? which has led to an enormous loss of property and life. I am not sure if it was requested by a member or it came from the staff. But whatever be the source of this idea, it's a humane one.
That shows that Mouthshut is not just a consumer based professional website. It?s a website that cares. It has a heart that beats. And I am proud to be a member of this website.
I am not going to write this one like my typical reviews since this is not meant to be a review.
Two nights back, when I was having dinner, I happened to glance at the TV screen and saw a little child, crying with hunger. She was a tsunami victim ? she had a puzzled and a shocked look on her face.
Obviously she was not understanding what had suddenly happened to her world - why the sea had opened up and swallowed the earth that had nurtured her ! All she knew was that she was hungry and there was no food. I was imagining the state of her mother who could only watch helplessly as her child cried. Suddenly, I felt very guilty. I looked at both of my kids, sleeping in their bedroom, after a good, hot meal.
The very next morning, I donated kilos of dal and chaawal for the tsunami victims. I hope my donated food reaches that child and many such children like her.
*I request all the mouthshut members to donate something ? even if the amount may be small. If mouthshut cares so much, so must we.

Please don?t feel obligated to leave ratings and comments ? since I have not written this review for the sake of a review but for those little children who have been the victims of this natural fury.
