Love in sin is more sensuous than love in marriage. Generations after generations, our writers, leaders, sports personalities, professionals, serviceman and aam admi fall in pray for the sin which they don't accept in any day where they live in their sense. There is no colour, cast, ages or time restriction to this love of sin. Once trapped into the clutches of the dark, intense & fascinating emotion it is not only difficult, but most often impossible to get a balance for our thought. Why it is so? Why Love in sin is more intense than love in marriage is anybody's liquor for thought. My assumption is that it is so, because the love is an emotion and any emotion is complimented by other emotions we hold in our life. A person who can laugh a lot can get angry fast. If they cannot be angry, the emotion takes the form of depression or say sadness. One who laugh fast cry fast is my observation. Here, the emotion of love is supplemented by many emotions like guilt, fear & danger adding to the new environment which invites to add the glory. Darkness is a situation where light is absent and no wonder one who falls pray to it cannot see facts as facts.

I had not had much intention to see the movie, thanks to the low key publicity it offered, not so known Director & Cast. However my roommates told that this is a remake of the Hollywood movie Derailed where the other stating it has been remade to Tamil in the name pachakkili muthucharam. I am impressed and since I have not seen both those films, decided to go for it.

"The Train, Some Lines Should Never Be Crossed".

Vishal Dixit (Emraan Hashmi) is a creative ad designer, but emotional at times. Anjali (Sayali Bagat) is a loving, caring wife of Vishal who is very practical, but optimistic as well. Their one and only child Nikki is having diabetics due to kidney problem and living in dialysis. Only kidney transplantation can save her, for which the parents accumulated their earnings month after month and waiting for a suitable donor. Vishal's and Anjali's love life is as cold as December night, where Vishal is always worrying about the danger alarm which would have come from his daughter's room. On a busy day morning while going to work he was attracted by a sexy lady Roma Kapoor (Geeta Basra) who helped him to clear the ticket bill. Sooner they become close and it didn't take much time for them to get for a hotel room. In the hotel room, where they were hoping to have a dark day out, took place the shocking incident. Gangsters entered the room and took their money, credit cards, and raped Roma, hitting Vishal to unconscious. The story didn't end there and the balance is for you to check it out, if it is not already known.

Power of the story is the only saving grace of the movie and add to it is some hot, spicy masala. Emraan Hashmi's fans don't have to regret seeing this film as well, though Dubai has cut short those 2 long sequences.

The first half of the movie lack imagination & perfection, however the second half almost made to it to an extent. Thanks to gripping suspense in the script. The reasons for Vishal to go after Roma has not presented convincingly. After all, he had a beautiful wife at home where he failed to notice or feed her emotional needs. There is a police officer coming from nowhere and goes nowhere in the second half and I wonder what was the purpose of the character, but to simply add some extra suspense, but it looks silly.

Direction by Raksha Mistry & Hasnain Hyderabadwala, I have to say did an average job, not exceptional. They have shown some bliss of excellence in the second half of the film. When half the people already know the story, the directors should have taken little more effort to give a faithful adaptation.

Emraan Hashmi failed to impress, though he was his normal form. Pitted opposite 2 tall actresses, he looks boyish in looks than a responsible parent as required by the character. Sayali Bhagat looks impressive and she is almost there. Except that she failed to put some emotions in occasions, she looks good and tries to reach to the character. Geeta Basra holds a look of Bipasha, and you can simply see as her younger sister. The killing instinct is less in intensity. Some salt is better than no salt. Right? The child artist was good. Suresh Menon proves that he can act really well…his switching from a comic to serious fellow was fantastic. Aseem Merchant was competent and fresh, he has a definite future to look at.

Music is ok, songs are pictured hot & spicy. Editing was poor. Cinematography is average.

So, the movie is an okay for watch one, for those who have not seen the derailed or pachakkili muthucharam as you are sure to regret. For others, it must be interesting to see the unfolding of the incidents. (The show I saw was almost houseful, though they had a small release.)

So, what do you say? Why Parallel lines cannot meet? Because when they tend to meet, they are no more parallel!

My rating: 2.5 stars
