I hated the postal services, but after dealing with Professional Couriers, I realize the Indian Postal services give a far more better service.
The name Professional Couriers is just a gimmick nothing else, their services are nowhere professional. The staff are rude, arrogant, loud and uncouth. I was sent a courier from Mumbai to Pune and it took a full 25 days for Professional couriers to deliver the consignment to me.
First, they could not locate, then they told me it was held up at the octroi as they didn't have sufficient money to pay the octroi and the amount was a mere 350/- bucks which professional couriers did not have. Try calling their numbers and you will start liking BSNL services. No one answers the call and if you are lucky enough to get the phone answered, then the operator at the other end will simply put the receiver aside and continue talking to whoever is around there.
Finally when I could get hold of someone to understand where my consignment was, I was asked, did you lodge a complaint, only if you lodge one will you get your consignment delivered. After much hassles, finally the guy came to deliver the consignment. But Lo behold, my troubles don't seem to end. The delivery guy simply refused to deliver it in my office, saying that the parcel was too heavy and he will not deliver in the office and I should send someone to collect it from the gate. Point to be noted here, the parcel contained a lamp which did not weigh more than half a kg and this was way to heavy for the guy to deliver. I refused to send anyone to collect and told the guy, he can jolly well return the consignment back to the sender as I wasnt interested in collecting it from wherever he was.
Finally Finally he came and delivered the consignment and mind you, he had no remorse only complaints saying how can you be so inhuman to ask me to come and deliver such a heavy consignment in your office, I have another 30 deliveries to make today and it is so difficult blah blah blah blah and more blah.
I firmly told him, his company was paid to give a door delivery service and whether he has 30 or 300 deliveries isnt my business.
All you people out there, an advice dont ever use Professional couriers for any kind of couriers rather opt for speed post and at the indian postal speed the consignment will definately will be delivered in 5-10 days, but NEVER go to THE (UN)PROFESSIONAL COURIER SERVICES
