We watch so many kinds of comedies There's silliness. And I think that this movie has it all in that there are verbal jokes. There are big jokes. There are little tiny jokes. There are jokes from the character. There are impossible jokes, things that could actually never happen in life. And that's what I loved about The 'Pink Panther' movies – it did it all. It had quite a range of rising and falling, of levels of comedy. To pull that off, usually you must start with the comedy and stick with that tone all the way. I think that this movie is actually quite consistent in tone, but I don't know how you get from the tiniest little verbal joke to some falling out of a window joke and still have it feel coherent, which it does to me.

Plot:In Pink Panther Steve Martin reinvents the character of Inspector Clouseau, the hapless, detective with the overwrought French accent.

He is called on to solve a high-profile crime, making a series of hilariously clumsy missteps along the way. The story centers on a familiar murder-heist narrative. A famous soccer coach meets an untimely death by homicide (via poisoned dart), leaving behind Xania, his beautiful and famous fiancée (played by Beyonce), who is devastated.

Not only has Xania lost her fiancee, but she also finds that her engagement ring--the fabled "pink panther" diamond--is missing.

Inspector Closeau's boss, Inspector Dreyfus (a topnotch Kevin Kline), decides to give the case to his incompetent inferior, scheming to take over the case at just the right moment in order to win the coveted Medal of Honor. With his reverent sidekick Ponton (Jean Reno) and adoring secretary Nicole (Emily Mortimer), Clouseau tackles the case as only he can, destroying evidence, fumbling names and pronunciations, insulting victims, and all the while attempting to charm the gorgeous Xania in his inimitably uproarious style.

Memorable scenes: when Clousseau tries to say"I want to buy a hamburger"and the climax.

To mention about Beyonce: I think voluptious woman are hot and Beyonce was quite ok for her first acting gig and she definetely got in a younger demographic to the film

Ending the review with a few lines written by Steve..

You know what your problem is, it's that you haven't seen enough movies - all of life's riddles are answered in the movies.
