Another recommendation on Mouthshut by me. Mugshot lounge is a recently opened lounge made more famous cz of its association with Priyanka Chopra. its her brother Siddharth Chopra's joint venture. the name Mugshot comes from beer mugs and shots.
Located on the third floor of Jewel Square, Koregaon Park the place has a chic ambience to it. they've kept it minimalistic yet effective. a well stocked well arranged bar at one end with high chair seating and sofa table setting for eating on the other side.
A dance floor separating the two. the music was awesome with the DJ accepting your requests and the music system on full blast. another highlight of the place is they serve Sheeshas which was well made, well attended to and lasted long. Green Apple was our flavour of the day. the bar menu is limited but had quite a few innovative drinks along with classic cocktails.
We ordered Red Jack( Tangy Vodka concoction with campari) Flaming Lamborghini(a visual treat to watch it being made and hot to the throat) Irish Flag(minty flavoured dark concoction well made) Long Island Ice Tea from the classics( five different liquor types blended to create a bigggg heavenly drink) for food we ordered Honey Chilli potatoes( tangy, spicy sauce marinating the mini potatoes) Harissa Chicken( chicken tender, harissa sauce well spiced) Chicken Tikka Pizza( one the best thin crust pizzas I've had, smoky flavour and topping generously added) Quattro Formaggio( blend of four different cheese types.
Well made with the wood fires seasonings) Rigatoni Siciliano( penne form pasta dish, tomato based sauce, aubergines and bell papers well disguised) ended our foodie experience with Belgium Chocolate Mousse( best of the day, dark chocolate lovers can't miss this, soft, melt in the mouth, yummmm) the staff is attentive and very cordial. pricing wise bit on the higher side but a good experience we had here. a recommendation to all the readers.
