The Tale of Shantaram continues....

Story:

For the readers who got involved with Shantaram this is an icing on the cake. LIn is back after two years to find himself all alone having lost the two most important people of his life who had provided him the shade he so desperately required. But don't get carried away too soon because this sequel does not live up to your expectations as well as you might want it to.

Through Shantaram author Gregory Davis Roberts had made some wonderful characterization coupled with some impressive narration and lucid reading but something is not quite right about this one but it does well in parts, the language seems to be a bit coarse and the narration has lack in continuity which makes it extremely confusing at times but no less interesting though.

Also unlike Shantaram which was influenced by the Author's life itself this is a complete work of fiction hence you cannot feel the characters so deeply as you did in the last one. Nevertheless it is impossible to keep it down for the ones who loved the first part. An ok-ok read.
