Hold on friends Mowgli is back swinging on the trees and running around the jungle with his wolf brothers. The Jungle Book written by Rudyard Kipling has been brought to screen by John Favreau. Mowgli, a human child is raised by a family of wolves ever since his father was killed by Sheer Khan, the king of the the jungle, is the central character of the film. The film describes the adventures of Mowgli when he is leaves through the forest when the wolves decide to outcast him on because of threat to his life by Sheer Khan
The story revolves around the problems that the little boy faces in the jungle and the solutions that he figures out to solve them.Mowgli meets varied animal characters throughout the film like the iconic Bagheera(the black panther), Kaa(the long slithery serpent) and Baloo(the bear) and King Louie(the giant monkey).
This movie is one of the best movies if not the best movie by Disney and it has done more than enough to keep up with the classic book.The movie has beautiful scenes of the Indian Jungle and all the characters of the movie have their usual Hindi names.
All throughout the movie visual effects have been used brilliantly in-spite of the lame 3D. The background music doesn't seem forced and the script has been kept humorous.
The final act of the film is much more mature than most kid-friendly pictures are nowadays. Everything that was set up earlier in the film(even the little things mentioned) all come into play in the finale, making for a very satisfying conclusion.
This is a near perfect movie and a must watch for kids, teens adults and the entire family.Highly recommended!
