The Story (no plots revealed) - 5/5

A guy is found dead (well, almost) in the middle of the sea and is rescued by a fishing crew. When he wakes up, he remembers everything except his identity !! The rest of the movie is how he survives bullets and assassins and finds out who he really is. The story is an adaptation of the famous 'Bourne trilogy' by the noted writer Robert Ludlum.
[I never read any of his works, but hey, I do know he is famous :-) ]

Matt Damon ROCKS as Jason Bourne !! He has played the role very well. Franka Potente performs the role of a normal young woman with ease and I liked her acting very much. Clive Owen gives a powerful performance as an Assassin 'The Professor' ! Julia Stiles is graceful in her small role as Nicolette ! Everyone acts like they were hand-picked for their role !!
Direction and Editing - 5/5

The movie is very well made with Bourne as the focus of attention and the rest of the happenings revolving around him. The editing is slick and the result is a very gripping movie that enthralls the audience and makes you wanna pause the movie while going for bathroom breaks !!
Action - 5/5

The action does not involve hi-tech gadgets or fancy cars and airplanes. It has the dependable Mini as the ''Grand Chariot'' that helps Bourne make his escape from the Cops !! The car chase scene is an absolute delight to watch !! The hand fights are very realistic and very believable even without any time-freeze techniques ! Classy action, that is a result of superior training, rather than fancy equipment ! JUST LOVED IT !!

I liked the fact that the attention was always on the main character and there was no ''save the world....again'' plot in the storyline. The spy is not a brutal killing machine, but is shown to be humane, even when murdering people ! (the yatch scene)
No digression of focus from Bourne is what sets this movie apart from other spy thrillers and makes the experience very believable !!
A MUST SEE before the sequel - The Bourne Supremacy - releases next week in the US.
