Not your body but pocket !!. Review on The Body Care - Delhi

Introduction: Body Care one of the so called renowned slimming center chains in Delhi, ,

Owner is one Mrs. Divya Sood, ( who boasts of having tremendous knowledge in the field of health, beauty & slimming !!!. As on date, “the body care” has 24 centres (12 centers in Delhi, noida, Gurgaon, Faridabad, 3 Bangalore, Kolkatta, Raipur, Ranchi, 3 Lucknow ) spread all over the country with

Blah blah blah as the money is pouring in cats & dogs !!!.

Experience: Last year my aunt joined one of their centers in g.k. Part 1( which is now shut under sealing spree!!). I'll explain her experience from day 1 till date,

Day 1- She's welcomed vry gracefully by a young & attractive girl at the reception, who later introduced her to a (specialised) nutritionist, who came wearing a starched coat giving an expression of an extremely professional person with the most assuring smile !!, at that time my aunt's weight was 89 kgs., the dietitian then took her for a bca test( body composition analysis test), later she gave my aunt an exclusive one hour briefing on her body analysis, & the immediate need for the various therapies.(the package she made was around 25, 000rs!!!).

Day 1 (eve) - same female called her telling about the fabulous -out- of- the- blues offer in which she can get that package after paying only 15000rs.

Day 2 - as she was sick & tired of her ever increasing weight , the inspiring buy 5 kgs. Get 5kgs free, money back policy & before & after ( of-course morphed )images in ads plus the tempting discount offer, made her land straight away to the land of scamsters that is body care. Again a gruelling session with the dietitian, plus an assurance that there won't be any changes in the daily diet & routine, but only "small life style changes".after confirming & assuring herself of continuing hogging her fav foods, my respected aunt handed [without consulting anyone, as the offer according to that female was only for a day(just imagine!)]Over her credit card to the lady !! & to her surprise she even got a complimentary facial in their parlor (obviously she was ecstatic!).

Day 3 - To her surprise of surprises she was handed over a list of do's & dont's, eat & don't eat, think & don't even think about list of heavy duty dietary measures which she was supposed to follow through out the package.(a formality sake health survey was also done, which was to be filled by the client.)The first session she had was of an indirect workout of 45 mins.on a fancily named machine with numerous wires and pads which were put on her entire body, ( at strategic places ;) hard to burn fats places silly. What were you thinking. She happily passed the time watching t.v. & surfing channels( yes, it was provided in tht small dingy cabin & you can watch your favourite channel only if you've come early & in sole ownership of the priceless remote.

Day 4 to so many days & weeks after - her weight was the same, she was sick & tired of that stupid vibrating, octopus like machine & tires me tummy tucks, &body wraps& messages & packs & what not !!!!! Whenever we used to go out for dinners she used to only eat salads( prescribed by them), & we used to hog on like pigs in front of her !!!One fine day i asked her the diet plan that is was prescribed, & her blood group, because as far as i know, there is a scientific logical relation between the two, but she told me she was never given a diet according to her blood group!, sadly her dietitian was not even aware of her blood group, forget about giving her diet accordingly !!!

After 2 1/2 months - of wasting time energy, money, ( rocking parties & amazing food that she had 2 miss because of those stupid sessions of her, ) what she got in return is increased weight, irregular menstrual cycles, raised thyroid, knee pains, pms(post menstrual stress), under eye circle, blemished skin & dull hair, etc.

All at cost of loosing 5 ( +5) kgs& 15000/- rs.!!!!.she begged, cried, even fought with the staff over there but to no avail, we even went to Mrs. Sood for help but she advised another package to us, which we later came to know was of another three months, , she refused to carry on with it, & asked about the money back policy, then came the last surprise that she wont b getting any money back as it was adjusted in giving her extra tuck (wtf !)

She would have not felt at loss , had there been a considerable weight loss. After haggling so much with them what she got was a coupon of hair re-bonding ( that my friend is another hair raising story. She might have thought "something is any day better then nothing" . She went all the way to gurgaon body care to get rebonding done(as she thought may be they'll render better services and surprise her hair were now neither straight nor curly somewhere in between you know.

At present she's weighing a whopping 95 kgs. Still waiting for sme miracle !!!!!!!
