They belong to a music devoted family; they have dominated the Hindi film music industry for around a decade; they are known as “kings of romantic songs” they have given many melodious songs and choosing just 10 of them is very difficult for me as I have been a Jatin-Lalit (Jatin Pandit & Lallt Pandit) fan for more than 10 years. They have been fabulous in producing the romantic rhythms that touched the heart of all the generations youngsters, children as well as old-age people. I am trying to put their few songs that I think are very melodious compositions by these legends. I will just write mere details of these songs, will not go into much detail since we all are know about these famous, super-hit songs.

1. Vaada raha sanam(Khiladi -1992):

Star cast: Akshay Kumar, Aayesh Jhulka, Deepak Tijori, Sheeba

Singers: Abhijeet, Alka Yagnik

A perfect love song given by the duo; good singing from Abhijeet and Alka Yagnik.

2. Mujhe raat din(Sangharsh – 1999):

Star cast: Akshay Kumar, Priety Zinta, Aashutosh Rana

Singer: Sonu Niagm

Sonu being my favorite singer, I can conclude this song as the best song sung by him till date.

3. Pehla Nasha(Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar – 1992):

Star cast: Aamir Khan, Aayesh Jhulka, Deepak Tijori, Kulbhooshan Kharbanda

Singer: Udit Narayan

Once again I can put this song in the 5 best songs sung by Udit Narayan.

4. Deewana dil deewana(Kabhi Haan Kabhi na – 1994):

Star cast: Shahrukh Khan, Suchitra, Deepak Tijori, Naseeruddin Shah

Singer: Amit Kumar, Udit Narayan

One good thing about this song is Amit Kumar has looked more impressive than Udit Narayan.

5. Badi taaza khabar hai ki tum Khoobsurat ho(Khoobsurat – 1999):

Star cast: Sanjay Dutt, Urmila Matondkar

Singer: Abhijeet, Neeria Pandit

Well, I can’t stop saying but this is again the second best song sung by Abhijeet according to me.(The best by Abhijeet: “Aankhein bhi hoti hai dil ki jubaan…. “From “Haasil”)

6. Bin tere sanam(Yaara Dildara – 1991):

Star cast: Asif Shaikh, Ruchika Pandey

Singer: Udit Narayan, Kavita Krishnamurthy

Most popular song among the remix guys; the song has maximum number of remixes.

7. Bahon ke darmiyaan( Khamoshi – 1996):

Star cast: Nana Patekar, Salman Khan, Manisha

Singer: Hariharan, Alka Yagnik

Jatin Lalit at their pinnacle, this was the golden era for them.

8. Ae kaash ke hum hosh mein(Kabhi Haan Kabhi na – 1994):

Star cast: Shahrukh Khan, Suchitra, Deepak Tijori, Naseeruddin Shah

Singer: Kumar Sanu

Just 2 words, “simply fantastic”.

9. Main koi aisa geet gaoon(Yes Boss – 1997):

Star cast: Shahrukh Khan, Juhi Chawla

Singers: Abhijeet, Alka Yagnik

A beautiful medldious song.

10. Aankhein bhi hoti hai dil ki jubaan(Haasil – 2003)

Star cast: Jimmy Shergill, Hrishita Bhatt, Irfan Khan

Singer: Abhijeet

I have written a comment above regarding this song.

I have put in these 10 songs here in the list but can’t stop mentioning about few more of the legendary hits that have been close to my heart.

Meri Duniya hai…(Vaastav – Sonu Nigam, Kavita Krishnamurthy)

Aur Kya.(Phir Bhi Dil Hai Hindustani – Abhijeet, Alka Yagnik)

Jab kisi ki taraf dil jhukne lage.(Pyar To Hona Hi Tha – Kumar Sanu)

Deewana main chala.(Pyar Kiya to Darna Kya – Udit Narayan)

Dil ka Quaraar…(Sangharsh – Sonu Nigam, Shraddha Pandit)

Na jaane mere dil ko kya ho gaya(DDLJ – Lata Mangeshkar, Udit Narayan)

O jaana O jaana…(Jab Pyar Kisi se Hota Hai - Lata Mangeshkar, Kumar Sanu)

Sardi khasee na malaria hua …(Raju Ban Gaya Gentleman – Kumar Sanu, Alka Yagnik)

Jindagi maut na ban jaye.(Sarfarosh – Sonu Nigam, Roop Kumar Rathore)

Hum tum ….(Hum Tum – Babul Supriyo, Alka Yagnik)

The 90’s decade will always be remembered for its romantic movies and so there is no question of Jatin-Lalit being forgotten. I have put my favorite songs here in this list, I know there are many fans of Jatin-Lalit and they might find few songs missing here; the reason being choosing ONLY 10 songs, Please let me know if any song of them can further be added.
