USELESS TATA INDICOM LANDLINE

I have a Tata Indicom Landline & I am frustated with their services, to say the least. My ordeal started since September last year. I called them up and requested for change in my Billing Plan from Bronze to Silver & I was informed that the same would be reflected the Bill of my next cycle. However, to my surprise the Bill received in October I noticed that the Plan still showed as Bronze instead of Silver & I called back their Customer Service (You really need to have patience for that) & they said that indeed there was a mistake on their side & I shall get credit in my next bill. Well my November Bill did show credit but my plan was still shown as Bronze. I had to again call up their customer service & I got the same reply. Well this continued for another 3 months & finally I refised to pay until they sort out the issue. At this they sorted this thing out & I started receiving my bills as per Silver plan.


Well, I thought that maybe this was a one off incident. However, since April I observed that there was a problem of Line Drop (Phone would get disconnected anytime during the call) & complained. Their lines man came in and informed me that there was a problem with the wiring from their Junction box to my place & I need to change that. Well I changed that but still the problem continued & once again after repeated complains the problem was traced in their cell site in one of the Chips. Now again since last 4 days there seems to be some major problem with their Network in Ghatkopar. The phone remains DEAD most of the times & even when the line comes in, you cannot be sure how long will the phone be alive. Inspite of my inumerous calls to their Customer Service centre, the problem continues.


It is PATHETIC that an Organization like TATA has this sort of service. Now I realise that since years we used to unnecessarily blame MTNL. Looking at the service of TATAS, I think MTNL is much much superior.


Anyways, I have had enough of this Nonsense from TATAS & am surely surrendering this Telephone connection & going back to MTNL.
