I have been a subscriber to Tata Sky for past 7 years. I upgraded to HD service 1 year ago. I have had 2 interstate and 1 local relocation during this period. I have never faced any problems or issues with Tata Sky. I also have personal experience of Dish TV which was installed in our institute and I was responsible for its maintenance. Tata Sky is far better than Dish TV.
The price is also quite comparable to Dish TV, Airtel etc. As for Airtel, which also was installed in our institute earlier, less said the better. Poor service and no resolution to issues ever forthcoming.
I have taken a semi-annual plan and recharge once in 6 months. All recharges are properly credited as is the due bonus. I get statement on email every month; so no issues. They also send a reminder on email and mobile when the subscription is about to run out and also give a 3 day grace period after the subscription is over, to recharge.
I have found their service personnel to be reasonably well trained and punctual. Once when a person came unannounced when we were not at home, he waited at the society gate for 1 hour till we returned and was quite polite.
Maybe most people write reviews here only after bad experience but I for one, have only good experience from Tata Sky. I have even get 2 multi connection Tata Sky installed in my institute and changed over from Dish TV.
In short; a good experience.
