Hello All,


I was cheated by Tatasky customer care executive and I realized it after a year. Sad to write my bad experiences with them, which should help others to avoid falling trap with brand companies like TATASKY.


Let me share you my experiences with TataSky.

Let me narrate my problem here.


On 6/7th September-2015, I contacted tata sky customer care to know about the Tatasky packages and their pricing. I didn't remembered the executive name, when I am inquiring for monthly package, he conveyed the existing packages like annual, 6 months,3 months, 1 month packages. And the customer care executive conveyed me to subscribe for annual package as it consists of two regional packages life long free,I was surprised and tempted at a moment, I inquired about the annual package. They clearly stated two regional channels are going to be free for life long. The discussion continues and I put them three questions,


1: Are there any hidden charges applicable to view the two regional packages?


2: Should I have to subscribe for any add on package to view the regional packages after one year?


3: If I didn't pay amount for 13th,14th, 15th month, am I able to view my regional channels?


And they have replied as below.


1: No hidden charges applicable.


2: No need to subscribe for any additional packages, it is absolutely free, if you want to view any other channel, you have to subscribe for it, which will cost me.


3: No need to pay amount for two selected regional channels.


Based on the above comments, I am happy at that moment, thinking I can enjoy with the regional channel packages for life long free.


Before 5 days of package expiry, I got a call from tata sky customer care and he mentioned that the subscription is going to completed and I have to subscribe for any add-on package which is around 200-250 rps, I stated him, I subscribed for life long two regional channel packages, he reverted and said add-on package is mandatory. My troubles starts here after listening this comments, raised a complaints and several follow-ups daily and it took almost a week and finally I realized I was cheated by the false statements last year.


I requested for my voice playback to crosscheck if I am wrong, they denied to play in call too. I am a middle class common man and I cannot spend much money on phone calls, every time I have to explain my problem in detail with the person in call and after a long discussions, they keep on stating a simple sentence, “ Kindly subscribe for add-on package to view your two regional packages”


I requested them to cancel my tata sky subscriptions and I requested them to take the set-top box and their equipment. Based on the mistake committed by the Tatasky customer care, I believe I have right to ask my hard earned money back. They are ready to take the set top box back, but sadly they cannot return a single penny to me.


I had a long conversations with their customer care executives, Hema, varun, madhukar, harshad, .etc. Everyone is keep on repeating the same answer.


I can conclude the below statements.


I lost the trust on tatasky due to the false statements by the customer care executive to achieve the targets.


Worst ever customer support, I ever seen in my life. Initial level of employees are good enough to listen my queries and address the issue than superiors.


I was deeply hurted due to the tata sky customer care and their behavior on phone.


If the mistake is committed at your end, why should the customer bear the punishment? TATA is well known brand and known for five formulas


tatasky wont conduct the business fairly, with no honesty and no transparency. .


I lost the Integrity, Understanding,Excellence,Unity,Responsibility with TATA.


Think before you subscribe for TataSky, dont fall into the trap by the customer care executives words.
