I was planning to buy an economical car with options such as Maruti 800, Alto, Tata Nano, etc
I had high hopes from Tata Nano as it has lot of space in it & also the cooling(AC) is quite fast.
However just one test ride broke its image in my mind
Firstly,
It appears cheap
It takes effort to handle the car beyond 60 kmph
Dont even try it at Express Highways - you would be highly disappointed
There is hardly any space in dickey! Wow wat a car!
Acceleration is way below average. I think Honda Activa or any other such 2-wheeler would have better acceleration
Ground clearance is good - but suspensions would put you down when you use bumps!
Just one ride & it was enough for me to reject the vehicle
Cost wise its not dat cheap - add few more bucks & go for other cars
