Dear friends,
I became the proud owner of the vehicle Indigo CS LX TDI after having traveled in similar model(CS LS) for almost a year, on September 26, 2009. The dealer was really really an experience that cannot be forgotten. Dealer delayed my registration for almost 1 month. RC book was provided only when I went to the showroom umpteen times, that too after 3 months. Really the Sales division of Balaji Kalyan is mess.
Coming back to the protagonist of the review, my car. She has been a joy to ride every time I got behind the wheel. The vehicle has really fine tuned engine which almost gives you the feel of petrol engine as far as noise is concerned. Few of the major highlights for buying this car:
- The price which TATA demands for the vehicle is really good.(I purchased TDI LX for 4.69 Lac)2. True value for money car as far as fuel economy is concerned.(I got 16.3 kms per litre so far with AC always on. May get better after further servicing. I am done with almost 3000 kms in 3 months)3. The new looks of the car which are drastic change from earlier drab Indigo are really eye catching especially the head lights.(I love the side signal lights:-))4. Space is really an USP of this car.5. The boot is better than similar priced hatchbacks.(Plus you get a Sedan after all sedan is a sedan:))6. Top speed that this beauty can achieve on freeways i.e. Highways is really thumping.(I once drove at 120). 1.3 litre engine is power to reckon
TATA in true sense of the word is good at diesel engines. This vehicle is really advisable for middle and upper middle class people since you get the luxury of Sedan at such a low buying cost and later on fuel cost. Plus you have more mileage(average) than in petrol variants.
The ABS, airbags and alloy wheels could make this car a bit heavy on price but anyways if you want all these then we have a new baby peeking out of TATAs protfolio Indigo Manza. Indulge In Style.:)
Hope you like the review.
Warm Regards.
