INDICA VISTA DEFECTIVE AC in brand new car?My indica VISTA (quadrajet diesel) has been driven 1400 kmsi and is 20 days old. Right from the day of delivery, the AC is not efficient.
Although it cools well in evening and at night, it is ineffectine during day time. It trips off and the starts frequently. I visited TATA authorised service centre-
First they told that that AC is OK, although the grill temperature was 22 C. Next visit, they told that gas is low, so they charged the gas. But cooling was still same. On Next visit they told that gas is too much so they again recharged the gas. But cooling was the same & grill temperature was 19 C.
The service advisor then talked to BEHR India limited (the company AC belongs to), he was told that the EXPANSOR VALVE might be clogged. So it was opened but was found to be neat & clean. Again TATA people contacted BEHR and were then told that the EXPANSOR VALVE & RD might need replacement. I fear that the TATA AUTHORISED people are not able to IDENTIFY & RECTIFY the defect in BRAND NEW car. Kindly Advise
