I think tata has learned a lot eversince first indica was launched by tata and till date every bit has changed and the previous indica has been moulded in to a product called indica vista.how well the tatas have taken this challenge reflects the zeal with which tata engineers have taken their task.full marks to them for providing indians a car which has got every thing to meet the aspirations of the people, nationally aswell as internationally.
Coming to the subject now iam going to share some information regarding vista quadrajet. car which was displayed in the show was aniversary edition vista quadrajet.oh that is a beauty.it looks stunning in white with black roof.logos are golden though compared to plain vista quadrajet. golden grill and golden tata logo add charm to the car and rich feel as well.hed lamps are biggest with petal shaped look.paint quality has improved by leaps and bound over previous indica.
Inconsistent panel gaps have been reduced.rare end of the car resembles that of previous indigo marina.in short car looks pretty.build quality of the car is good and doors open at 90 degree to make entry and exit easy.open the door and one is greeted with two tone beige interiors which look and feel good.dash board design is excellent and modern resembling that of a sophesticated sedan.i didnt like the central instruement cluster, rather it should have been in front of the steering wheel.start the engine and u cant hear the motor clattering under the hood.it is silent .
Shift the gear and the car moves steadily and pulls cleanly even at lower engine revolutions.press the throttle and car picks up speed and after 2000rpm the car really pulls effortlessly begging for more up to 4000 rpm.car reached three figure mark of 100kmr in no time.i was really impressed by straight line acceleration.car handles well at high speeds but cornering at high speeds is notch below the swift diesel.multi jet engine is a class apart.couldnt push the car beyond 100 kmr mark because of vehicular traffic.suspension has been a huge improvement.in my opinion city drivability of the car would be excellent.what to talk about the space as indica is well known for its leg, head and shoulder room.
Every thing is good.top end version of anniversary edition costs 5lakh 15 thousand but u get every thing in comparison to swift.blue and me option in the car is amazing.what else u need at this price.car will be aswift killer if after sale service bak up will improve which has been a weak point so far.hoping that this would be my next car.go for vista if u are not swift crazy. please not that test drive car was plain vista, not anniversary edition.
