I bought a Tata Indica V2 in the year 2005. One of my friend had suggested not to buy any diesel car on seconds, I ignored the advice and bought it. Within a months time I faced a strange problem, though there was enough diesel in the tank, there was an airlock and we had to use the pump. Later it was found that the pump had some issues and was to be serviced, which burnt Rs 15000. For every service I end up replacing many parts and none of the spare parts are cheaper.
All the four tyres where in good shape when I bought the car, but after few long trips the front tyres have lost all the grip and I have no choice but to replace them and cannot use them even as spare tyre. One advantage is that this car gives me good mileage, gives me 20 kmpl on the highway, but eats all that savings and more in maintenance cost.
If any of you are planning to go for a second hand car never go for a diesel car atleast not Indica.
