Yes I am a proud owner of a Tata Indica V2 for the past 18 months having bought one in 19 Jun 2001 on my wedding anniversary asa gift for my wife.I had a fiat earlier and had driven all sorts of vehicles.I am more than satisfied with the performance of this car.People used to scare me that Diesel vehicles give a lot of starting problems. I have had none of that. I have been abel to start my Indica in a single ignition. Never did I need to charge my battery. I have even started it ina single ignition after a gap of 15 to 20 days.I stay in Jalandhar where it is pretty cold and I have never had any problem.
The AC is very very effective.I have tried Maruti 800, Zen and even Esteem but their AC is not as effective.The pick up is fantastic.I have cruised at a maximum speed of 145 KM per hour without any vibrations.I have not had any mechanical problems to date and I am certain I will give me good service for many years to come.
Mileage at a good cruising speed of 65 - 70 Km per hour is 19 KM per litre of diesel which is very economical.I have travelled many long distances on my Indica and have had trouble free Service.Purchase of Indica is highly recommended.
