This review from my side is not out of emotions but based on my experience in using internet for the last 10 to 11 years starting from the times of Sify’s 56 KBPS dial-up. I just wanted to inform you all on the quality of dongles coming out from big companies like Reliance, Tata, Airtel, and so on. These technology is just a big cheat to squeeze out money from the consumers pocket and nothing else. Sad to see even companies like Tata can reach to such dishonesty when it comes to their marketing gimmicks.
These dongles take ages to load even common websites like Google or Gmail, and only in 50% of the time, you will be able to surf at a decent speed which is similar to that of a dial-up and sometimes even slower than that. All these marketing gimmicks like 3.1 MBPS and so on are just in words and you will never get those speed.
Stay away from these dongles as it seems that this technology will pass away just as fast as it came (Remember the technology of Pagers, it is now into oblivion). If you are really interested in using internet comfortably, then I do not see any other option (as of now in India) but to use broadband and nothing else. My choice is Airtel when it comes to broadband, and others are also not doing badly either.
I am writing this review so that you all do not go through the same frustration that I have gone through. Now the choice is yours.
