Can any one say honestly that he or she doesn't have any complaints with their present mobile operator. I have almost none, when I have registered for National do not call few weeks ago.
I came to Kanpur almost six months ago. I needed a good mobile operator again. I had a pleasant experience with Tata Docomo in Chandigarh too, though it was comparatively a new player there. I still remember the sudden lower signal in my area. customtakeouter care said that it was due to sudden load at the tower in my Air force area. It may be true also, as defense personnel prefer more STD calls as compared to Local calls. They also prefer GPRS now a days.
I chose TATA DOCOMO as my obvious choice.
Network
Always 5/5, though locally I have not been to many places in Kanpur. But I have been to my in laws house in Ranchi. En route in the train, I had satisfactory coverage. At times, even BSNL also had zero signal where Tata Docomo had sufficient signal.
Recharge
It has some very useful Special Tariff Vouchers for Local calls, STD calls, GPRS and SMS packs. For example, it has Rs 29 STV for one month or Rs 96 for 120 days in which on can talk with any local mobile operator for 2 seconds for 1 paisa only. Likewise with Rs 18 for one month STV one can talk ANY mobile operator for 1p/2s STD. It has sms pack for Rs 12 only for one month in which low sms users may do sms to any one for 5 paise each. It has attractive unlimited sms pack too. Also the GPRS for the least amount and maximum data.
The recharge shops are normally overcrowded and it`s not easy for ladies to get the Top up or other voucher be done in less time.It`s own online recharge site offers solutions at one place from normal Top up to ANY STV. For Top Up one can use Debit or Credit Card. For STV one can have an additional option of deduction of balance from the main balance.
It`s mistake proof too. You will receive a code at your mobile which you need to put at the site. However you can recharge ANY Tata Docomo mobile no.
I feel great to see almost every time, more than full talk time on top ups. Like, I normally get Rs 125 TT with Rs 110 recharge. Too good !!!

Pleasing indeed. Whenever I needed to interact, I found well behaved and skilled ladies or gentlemen other side. They never provided me wrong information and patiently heard me.
Unlike other mobile operators, they have a dedicated mail system listen@tatadocomo.com. You send a mail and you are contacted first through mail, then through calls if required.
Misc
I never had any wrong activation of any paid service. Till I had activated `DND` I was almost a harassed lady with at least two promotional calls and 2-3 promo messages. But after easily activating DND, those things are days of past. They rRajeev_Vermact DND in letter and spirit.
I strongly recommend this mobile operator to all.
