If you are an HSBC credit car holder, beware. Someone from Tata AIG will call you up and after a non-stop talking as if from a recorded device will promise you the heaven. First two months 10 Rs deducted from the card. Then Rs 701 every month. Any accidental death will fetch 40 lakhs to the nominee (You are more valuable to others after death). Lots of other blah blah blah.
They will promise to send the complete papers to your address and you have time to study the policy and accept or reject it.Don't be surprised if you never get the documents. I never got any. If you call them up to get it cancelled, you will be told that someone will contact you. Same with HSBC. They will tell you that you have to contact Tata AIG. Wonder how HSBC can charge the money to your account without informing you.
Also why they cannot stop deduction on your demand. There is no contract between you and HSBC.Well, I told both of them that I want it cancelled. Also that I am not going to pay the amount billed to my account. But none of them have heeded to my request. So be careful about any calls from these insurance or credit card guys. They are simply after your money.
