I accidentally came across Taskbucks which searching for freelance apps. Their tagline proclaimed that you could earn real money by carrying out -"intersting tasks" assigned to you on a daily basis. The advertisement on Playstore did not mention what were the so-called interesting tasks, but I assumed they would be some freelance tasks. And so, I went ahead to install the app, just to check it. Turns out, was a big time scam.
It was nothing like what I expected it to me. Basically, this app is what you can call sponsored spam. For starters, you are required to install popular apps like Amazon or Flipkart and use the apps for purchases. As you progress, you would be forced to install random apps and use them. But what gets missed in the fine print is that you need to install a random app from a an unverified publisher, sign up for their service, regardless of whether you need it or not, use their service regardless of whether you like it or not - just for a few pennies. You'd also be required to watch random advertisement videos, share them to your contacts, provide the app with your personal details and your social network data. With time, you end up losing more personal data than what you earn in terms of cash/recharges. In short, the developers of the app make you an advertising machine for a few rupees, which, otherwise would cost them thousands to advertise.
I'd advise every logical person to stay away from such rip-offs who claim to provide easy money.
