Hungry? In a hurry? No time to spare? Need something fast and easy? Well do I have the place for you! Taco Bell®! It’s one of our favorites and there is something for everyone in the family. Well everyone except one of our daughters who does not like tacos, pizza, spaghetti and other foods along this line. Don’t ask me why for I do not know! She just doesn’t!
But my husband, son and I do like Taco Bell®. However, I have to admit that my husband and I eat there alone when we can, but we bring our son something back. And yes we will stop and get our daughter something as well. But, there are times when we just splurge ourselves without the kiddies. Hey we are entitled to do so from time to time. All parents are!
If you are dieting you can eat here, you just have to do the correct meat and/or cheese exchanges for your diet plan. You will need to refer to that plan for this information or check with your doctor.
But, if you just don’t care then go for it!
The Food
Now serving at our local Taco Bell®:
Tacos, both soft and hard, with or without chicken or beef. Taco Supreme, both soft and hard, with or without chicken or beef, Grilled Steak Soft Taco, Double Decker Taco and Double Decker Taco Supreme. Of course all taste well and of course offer a nutritional serving portion of meat, cheese and vegetable.
The Burritos offered are the Bean Burrito, 7-Layer Burrito, Chili Cheese Burrito, Burrito Supreme with or without beef, chicken or steak, Fiesta Burrito with or without beef, chicken or steak, and of course the Grilled Stuffed Burrito also with or without beef, chicken or steak. You can get these with extra sauce, no sauce, extra cheese, lettuce, tomato or onion.
Taco Bell® also offers Chalupas. Chalupa Supreme with or without chicken, beef or steak. Chalupa Baja with or without chicken, beef or steak. Chalupa Nacho Supreme, with or without chicken, steak or beef.
They also offer a variety of Gordita’s that you can get as a Supreme with or without beef, chicken or steak. Now these I have not tasted, but hubby has and he loves them.
The Tostada’s and the Mexican Pizzas are not bad either. Oh my gosh, if you are in the mood for a salad you can have a Taco salad and you can get this neat bowl that is eatable or chips.
If you are wanting something different and filling then the Quesadillas are for you! You can get them with or without steak, chicken, extreme cheese.
Sides
If you are in the mood to just walk in or drive through for just a simple snack type deal you can choose the wonderful tasting, to die for Cinnamon Twist or the Pinto’s and cheese. Or you can get the Nacho’s. Now mind you in my humble opinion any of these are good for fishing or watching a movie or football game! In fact we will get the 6 pack or the 10 pack of tacos to go and take them fishing with us! They are good cold!
Breakfast Menu
On the rare occasion that we can catch their breakfast we are happy campers. It’s always a good thing to start the day out with a good breakfast, especially if you are going to be out all day.
They have your choice of Breakfast Gordita, Breakfast Burrito, Breakfast Steak Burrito, Breakfast Quesadillas, which you can get with steak and green sauce. I don’t know about the green sauce because it’s green and I am not going to try it. Now our favorite in this menu is the Steak Burrito. They are to die for!
There are a variety of sauces that one can choose from ranging from mild to hot to extremely hot. You can choose a cheese sauce, pepper jack sauce, fiesta sauce and others. There is one for your taste buds no doubt about that. I prefer the mild sauce. Hubby prefers the hot sauce. Says it makes him hotter, I say he doesn’t need it!

How I Feel
I love Taco Bell® because they certainly have something for us to eat at all times. I just don’t get to go as much as I would like. Because certainly I could eat everyday at Taco Bell® and never get tired of it. The prices are right ranging from .59 cents up to $1.99 for just Tacos and other single items or 3.99 or 4.99 for a combo meal. Depending on where you are. (prices are US Dollars)
Different Taco Bell’s® will offer a variety of Pepsi® or Coke® Products as well.
I can almost always find one while traveling. About the only place I can’t find one is the town where I live. The nearest one is about 15 miles away, so when I am in that area I stop! I like being able to go inside or to the drive through window. And they are open late, till around 2 or 3 in the morning, depending on where you live.
I like being able to get a nutritional fast food item that I know will taste good and not get thrown away. I like being able to select the various meat available or if I feel like it extra cheese. And I don’t have to count calories so much with their food, because it’s already pre weighed based on a medium exchange food for those who watch their diets. I think though that my most favorite are the Burrito Supremes. I also like just the Taco both hard and soft shell. Hubby likes it all! My son likes it all as well!
Also, I can buy the Taco Bell® brand shells, sauces and other stuff in my local grocery store and make them at home. But, this can get costly for us because we will buy extra stuff. So, I don’t do this much.
So, if you are tired of the burger and fries routine or just not in the mood for one of those, head to Taco Bell® for a change in taste!
