TVS’ latest offering from its stables happens to be the Victor a la Hero Honda CBZ style!!

The Victor has climbed popularity charts pretty fast and is easily the most seen bike on the road. It would definitely evoke a tongue-in-cheek assessment from any bike connoisseur.

It has looks, style, performance, power, appeal and the one factor the common man looks for, mileage (and this bike has loads of it).

The four speed gear-box gives you better control over the road with a good ground clearance (if you’re city roads are scarred with potholes) and exceptional handling and control. And the suspension offers comfort beyond comparison.

As for the looks, a CBZ styled front head with a hi power multi reflector headlamp provides for ample lightning and tyres which allow better traction and control in slippery conditions.

The 110cc 4-stroke engine plays along well while offering an 8.1 BHP which makes its 105 kg kerb weight seem irrelevant.

Performance is one very important factor and you need not look any further. The Victor offers an impressive 85 kmpl with a high capacity 14 litre fuel tank offering you a range of above 1100km. At the lowest, you can expect an 80 kmpl that still holds good on most peoples accounts.

The advanced digital ignition offers a quicker hassle-free start. However, one factor which might disappoint most bike enthusiasts is the pickup – it is a tad bit slow. But once you shift to the top gears, the pickup improves and you should feel much in control.

This is one bike that doesn’t compromise on rider comforts and offers a wide range of features. The ‘pass’ technology as shown in the ad allows the rider to flash the dim-and-bright light options to overtake at night at the touch of a button instead of the traditional switch.

One other feature that attracted me was the economy mode / power mode option. At the lower gears, the bike works in economy mode and offers a higher mileage; while riding at higher gears puts the bike into power mode which drops the mileage factor and lets the rider burn the road.

All in all, this is one bike that is smashing competition and raking in points and is a strong and refined package that comes at an attractive price.
