I am facing the lots of problems with Scotty pep, in last Auguest 2006 I had Purchased this scotty Pep I had done the required free servicing as per schedule given by TVS Company. Just after the warranty period over i.e. After 1 year PEP start giving problems. From Feb 2007 In almost 30 days, I have to replace RELAY Assembly. & I had done this from Authorised TVS Repair center and for that I had paid almost Rs.450/-As & when Relay gives the Problem, Battery of the PEP also goes OFF.
When I called the TVSE Executive then I came to know that What ever relays I had replaced from all Authorised ( So called ) services center are not the correct modified parts. It means All the Authorised Service Centers had cheated me every time & I had paid for Duplicate parts. And most importantly I got the message from TVSE Executives that Where I had replaced the parts that are not the authorised service centers very funny.
Almost 2 years had gone for purchase of Scotty PEP it runs hardly 5000 KMS , from this any Automobiile Expert can judge easily that what should be the condition of this bike. Today also after so many servicing its petrol average is not more than 20 to 25 Kms Per ltrs. ( See the output)
My fraindly suggestion to all who are thinking to buy TVS scotty , Please go for any other Brand dont think about TVSE Scotty PEP
