I posted a review on 06th June, 2011 on my RTR 180 I purchased in MAY, 2011, when I first learnt to ride a bike. Early in life, I aspired to be a Fighter Pilot, but found myself riding a Luna TFR / Lambretta / Chetak and finally a Kinetik Honda (no regrets). Its more than a year now and I am aged 55 years +. I thought it right to post my review after a year of riding.
I had an occassion to ride from Bangalore to Mysore and back (about 300 kms) on an emergency trip, stretching from dawn to midnight. I preferred my RTR over my mid-seg Car. The zeal and enthusiasm and the flow of Adralin, at times, I touched 120 kms / hr. At my age, I was certainly over stretching the personal risks a bit too much. But, the RTR never complained. She glided, purred and overtook like a bullet. Bystanders gazing, and wondering.
For me, youngsters, it was a great feeling, the nearest I could get to flying a Fighter (Sukhoi). Thanks to my RTR 180, that gives me the feel of flying a fighter (Real Fighter Pilots, please excuse, I know it can never match, the real stuff). Bye Bye : VASANT KUMAR K.V. now in CV Raman Nagar, Bangalore.
