Before buying this bike I had a lot of question and doubts. I honestly hated Apache because of the older model, however most people loved it.

But one day during a sudden rain in summer heat, I had to stop and then I saw her, a white beauty with supper aggressive attitude standing out of the herd, she looked damn sexy and too different and all I remember I guess that was one of the moment when I decided I had to buy this because this is my true love now.

Well it took a while, but I somehow managed to buy the ABS model, because well.

A its safe.

B I spent months before buying her on internet watching videos about ABS apache rtr 180.

I know I had other options also and a league ahead option was available for me too, i.e Pulsar Rs 200, and Duke 200.

but honestly I studied everything possible and reviewed anything possible and concluded that Apache would be far better, because Pulsar body quality always feels and look cheaper(but a nicer engine she has), and duke is has a  pretty dangerous reputation.

Well TVS provided ABS as a n option on both wheels that to within a budget of 10K plus on the base model only, whereas Pulsar RS 200 gives only on the front wheel and duke lacks it.

Most of the people even me before buying the ABS always felt like "What the heck would ABS do for me?" "Who needs an ABS system, noob?"

well after seeing the testride videos on youtube(autocar I guess), I thought this is actually life saving. and never a day goes by when I never thank myself for choosing the right choice.

ABS has saved my life many infinite times. I cant even imagine to how to thank TVS to implement that life saving feature.

No matter what surface you are driving on, may it be sand on road(concrete or tarmac), mud, Off road, rain the bike never slips.

To give you a exact life saving scenario, once I had to brake suddenly at a speed of 131KMPH within a few meters may be 20mtr, that to only on the front brake only! and I am still alive to write the review.

The pickup is excellent, I can guarantee that, I have taken over R15 several times on the highway, I agree R15 is an excellent track bike and has a best seating potision yes better than mine, but pick up is what Apache wins over.(but R15 has more top speed).

I have managed to get a efficient fuel return also, although nobody grees on it until they ride, but my bike has returned more that 55KMPL during the 2, 3 and 4th servicing, even now after so many non maintained(due to my irresponsibility and my cousins and friends ridin her hard) still she gives a mileage of 40+ KMPL.

before buyin 9/10 people warned me not to buy but only 1 person says buy, and ironically those 9 people do not own an Apache, but that 1 person do.

so whoever owns an Apache knows what hell of machine she is.

I wont extend the review with my stupid words anymore, just buy it and you wont be disappointed .

Figures that I manage to get were-:

0-60 - 3.7 sec.

Top speed(*till for now) -  134 KMPH

Mileage - varies from 38 to 55.

Pros:

Awesome Pickup,

Almost same as Pulsar 220 and R15 in racing but with far better mileage and lower maintainance

very cheap maintainace.

Beautifull design.

and almost everything about her is best.

rev the engine quickest and is too scary .

Cons:

lacks 6th gear.

remember to check tyre pressure responsibly, because with lower tyre pressure mileage dramatically decreases a lot gave me 30 KMPL but as soon as I fill it up quickly it gave me 48 KMPL mileage.so be carefull.
