I owned Apache RTR160 for 5 years(2010JAN-2014DEC). I serviced it every 6 months. Till I sold my bike, I have not changed any spare than brake callipers, I have done multiple long trips too. Een at the end of 5 years, acceleration was terrific. I constantly got a mileage of~40kmpl in city driving with a speed of 40-60 and~46kmpl on highway with speeds between 85-95 kmph
TVS bikes are known for less maintenance.
Also expecting more than 40kmpl from a bike tagged as racing spirit is pointless I guess.
If you want the vroom and thrilling acceleration, Apache is one of the best.
