I have bought this bike 3 years back on July 2006, till now it had completed around 30000+km, Previous bike I had: Hero Honda CD deluxe SS model. My requirements at that time: To move from 100 cc

bike category, I want some more power, pickup as well as milage. My budget was within 50000. Test drive took before purchase: Suzuki zeus, hero Honda super splender(125 cc), Yamaha gladiator, Bajaj

discover and Honda shine. Short list made: Suzuki zeus, and Honda shine, Yamaha gladiator(three are good at different levels, gladiator

milage looks was great at that time, but it was a replacement of fazer that time. Honda shine was good for its

simple looks, engine, gear box, etc. and also brand name, (backup of unicorn, activa) and the suzuki was new at

that time(was separated by TVS). My Choice: Suzuki Zeus. I chose, zeus at that time because of the reability engine and gear box smoothness,

and with some extra advantages. At that time, I had to make choice between shine and zeus. I took zeus because

none of these two were less in any aspect as engine, gear box etc matters and shine was a little bit ahead in style

and appearance. The advantages I consider( Its personal) are: Gear box smoothness, that I cant even heard a knock also when I shift the gears at test drive at suzuki

showroom, I was amazed of the butter like smoothness, Even today the smoothness is same. Gear indicator( no other 125 segment has this). Engine kill switch, vibration damper( I think chrome

plated). Decent headlight, duel horn, solid body. Value for the money( That time the vehicle comes with spokes with disc brake as standard fitment at the

cost of 49, 000 including sary gaurd, seat cover, buzzer etc. When I compared with shine, shine was little bit

costlier 3000 rs more for disc brake option. In Bangalore. It has a very long pillion seat, three man can easily ride(if you were a family man with one child it's great

for the family, and the fuel tank is also in same line with seat that you can put something like luggage there, it

wont fall easily, or else your child can sit there with very ease). It also got, helmet holder under the seat, ( but I never used frankly), it got some space for your documents

under the seat, for tool box also, 2 separate chambers are there). The ride quality. The seating position is so great that you road grip ride as much time as you can, and as long

as.( some times I used to go to my native place 300 km from Bangalore with only one stop, without any back

pain, nothing which I comfort do very often). What I loved( real experiences): Top speed I got on this bike: 105 Km/h on Poona Bangalore Highway(along with my friend as pillion rider;

my weight is 85+ pillion 60+) without any vibration, thanks to engine and vibration damper on handle bar. This

is not hype, on real condition only and on highways I used to ride above 80s. Mileage:+ or- 60km/l in cities and on Highways around 70km/liter. Handling and city riding: Superb as it is gears are so smooth and well placed that even at 20 to 30 km/h

speed you can ride in 5th gears, this will helpful because there are lots of humps in bangalore city roads

approximately on every 100 meters u can get a hump. So no need of changing the gears from top 5th gear to 2nd

gear, just leave the accelerator near, cross the hump and rise the accelerator. And regarding the pick up: Yes it has less pick up compare to 150 cc or even compare to discover or shine,

but it is okay. because this Bike is for communting, not for racing.( For racing you can move to 150 cc category)

Because of its 9.5 bhp. But it has good torque so balance in one aspect. Final wordings: So, overall what I am recommending is for the people who want to move from 100 cc

segment, want some more power, look, great handling, do not want to compromise on mileage and not want to

go for scooters, for them this is the ultimate bike. Do not think twice. With regards Basav
