Faiza Khan’s documentary, Supermen of Malegaon, depicts the process of making a localised spoof film by director Nasir Sheikh and his motley of passionate crew members.
This hour-long documentary captures the struggle of one such film-maker Nasir Shaikh who along with his handy cam and a set of writers and actors embarks on his most ambitious film till date, Malegaon Ka Superman.‘Batman was considered as well, but Batman doesn’t have much dum, ’ informs Nasir, who is an all in one guy, as he fails to fathom how different people will be able to envision what he thinks.
