Superman Returns (2006) is directed by Bryan Singer, casts including Superman by Brandon Routh, Lois Lane by Kate Bosworth. The film runs 154 minutes. I enjoyed the film.
The role of Superman in the film is like Jesus Christ, he is the saver of mankind and he guards the Earth. He died of saving human and he rose from death.
There was a pity that Superman wanted to kiss his ex-girlfriend even when he knew she was with someone else already. I assume that aimed to please audiences. Superman does not need any affair to please us. I admire the director of Band of Brothers, if you know what I mean.
There were some other factual errors, for example, in the scene where the plane is crashing towards the earth Lois is repeatedly thrown around the cabin of the plane quite violently, yet when the plane is rescued she is completely unharmed.
