Stephen Waugh known as Steve Waugh never thought that he will be in such doldrums like he is now...but never under estimate him, as he is one of the most powerful player and is having more guts and spirit then any of the recent past cricketers.
Brother Mark gave up the fight, but Steve has not given up and in the recent Melbourne test (4th Ashes Test) against England he showed that he is still the gutsy player and most reliable one as he blasted 77 runs. I salute this great player for his magnificent performance. Having rejected the selectors offer to bid good-bye to the cricket Waugh with his gutsy performance has challenged the selectors who want to drop him from the West Indies tour. The selectors have got there answer from Steve Waugh, were they haunted the skipper and his future in cricket. That's the way Steve. This is just an example of Steve Waugh's spirit towards the game and his Country were the people still take him as their icon. Steve is the most successful & cool captain, tremendous leader and inspirer.
He has a big heart as he has helped the home for orphans in Kolkota.(Udayan).
We have to learn from out mistakes and fight like a true fighter.
Surely one thing I want to suggest that everyone is a human being and makes mistake like Steve Waugh talking too much and interfering in Indian cricketers but he has also learnt from his mistake and hailed Ganguly as the good captain as a true sportsman should be.
When he toured India, he spoke very harshly towards Indian cricketers but we have to understand that it was only a mind game and he came here to win the series which he was not able to on Indian soil.
But respect his fighting abilities.
