Average and crowded Bank. Review on State Bank Of India

State bank of India is one of the largest public sector bank in India. Most of the customer do have there respective account. But the services they provide is not so good. They have good large ATM network in India. One can find ATM of SBI in every nook and corner. SBI branches are also have vast network. They find in every states and district. They have very large branches networks. They provide different services to its customers. Phone banking is one of them. One can registered with phone banking for any kind of problem or query. It can be solved by calling to phone banking customer care. Phone banking is good in service. But for internet banking activation one has to visit the branch which is one of the tedious task. This facility has to be change. In any other bank one can active this feature on internet itself. No need to visit the bank. Banks are crowded and one has to wait long hour to sort it out his problem. For depositing and withdrawing the amount from bank branch is also very time consuming. A very lengthy process. Although the customer service is robust but they take it around long time to resolve the query be it around from 24 hours to 72 hours.

This is long process. In one instance I transferred amount to one of the beneficiary and it stuck in between. So I called the phone banking officer to resolve the issue and it took around 7 days to sort it out. This is one of the instance which I faced myself. There are many. And even transferring amount to any other beneficiary it normally take longer time in NEFT. Even after adding beneficiary it take it around 4 to 5 hours to make first transfer nut in other bank it transfer in one time. This bank still follow the old procedure which is expired but they do follow it. This bank is for those who have ample time to visit the branch. Other wise don't opt for it. Definitely gonna lose your precious time. I won't recommend this bank to any one due to long and tedious process to follow.
