Starcj.com is an other ecommerce company which gives deals in all kind of stuffs related to home utilities, furniture, apparels, electronics etc
They have got their dedicated channel on TV, hosted by Star Network namely Star Cj Alive where they keep on displaying the ads of the products for the whole day same as the Teleshopping channels does.
I came to know about this channel and show when I was watching TV and continuously changing channels to have something great but this lands up there, at that time they were running an ad for Electrolux Oven Grill 20kg, I had my mother sitting next to me, we watched the whole ad for 25 min, I did put my hands on remote to change but she just didnt let me do it .
My mother right away called their helpline and ordered it for 7000 rs. She didnt listen to anyone as it lured her to buy. We got the product after 10 days and gave the money to courier person.
Suddenly when I was surfing net I got an ad for the same model of IFB at rs. 5999, it was rather a good looking one as compared to the one we just got. I didnt show it my mother, otherwise she would have regretted her decision of buying it.
But later on, when she was the same channel some other day they showed the same product at 5999, and I guess it was just 15 days ahead of the date when we got the product. in just 15 days they dropped the price by a 1000rs.
Also we were actually charged 350 extra for initial installment by Electrolux and they called them on our behalf without informing us.
Its been a terrible experience buying there as the same just after 15 days was available for 1000 rs. less. Look out for better option than starcj. I think there are plenty already out there.
