I have always been a big fan of off beat cinema. Usuually, these movies touch the depth of our lives more realistically where main stream cinema lags behind. I am not against any genre or type of cinema. Let's just say, it's an opinion. One such movie that litrally touched my inner core is Sparsh. The name says it all. The story is about a man who is visually impaired yet a complete and independent man ( Naseeruddin Shah) who runs a school for children with disability like him.

His mission is to let these children blend in with the so called normal society. On the other hand, to the contrast, is a widow ( Shabana Azmi) who has lost the touch to the world after her husband passed away making her hopeless about life, . The story develops as the two meet and how their visions are affected in each other presence and how one character fuels the other. The actors are so strong that in not one part of the movie, can one find the reflection of actors themselves. For me, it is not just a story, it is a touch or Sparsh to one's soul.
