Value for Money:

The name is what drew me to the place at first. Situated close to the junction of 5th and 6th block Koramangala, it is a bit inside from 80 Feet Road and I used to often pass this place until one day "Superman" finally drew me to his kitchen. ;) The superman like "S" sign with a "Soup" icon creating the shape was a bit conspicuous to say the least. But I was pleasantly surprised upon fully experiencing my discovery. I've been here 5-6 times thus far.

Layout & Ambience:

Well, it's basically a medium sized room, definitely not huge by any standards. But the place is neatly done up with 2-seater, 4-seater and larger tables to dine at. There is some music playing and there is writing on the walls. The walls are supposed to be a signature book for the visiting customers with writings and testimonials all over the wall, mentioning their opinions about their visit here. I'm not entirely sure the entire thing is done by visitors but some definitely seem to be. Others are probably for decorative purposes. There are even shelves with books, magazines and comics stacked up at the side, lest the customers get bored while waiting for their order. The room leads to the counter at one end of the room with a door close by, probably leading to the kitchen. This not being situated on the main road and not being some big brand name, generally doesn't have big crowds, but has occasional visitors and its visitors seem to like it, in general.

Food:

Coming to the food, it's mostly a fast food joint. The main specialty her are the sizzlers. Some vegetarian or non-vegetarian sizzler with the veggies which come with it served with potato wedges / french fries / mashed potatoes / noodles. Some of the non-vegetarian ones are boneless while others are with bone. But it is good.

But there are also pizzas here - thin crust ones with some interesting but moderate toppings. It is their style and comes across as decent. Some of the names might take you by surprise - "Sunny Leonee Vegetarian Pizza", "Al Pacino Chicken Pizza", "Donald Trump American Chicken Pizza" and so on. The description also generally has some interesting bits added like "No baloney like Donald Trump." etc with main details which makes for funny reading.

The other notable mention here are the soups. I tried one or two and was not disappointed. The mocktails also seem good, if you want to go for a full fledged one. If you are having meal here, it will be accompanied by a small mini-drink at the start. It could be a mocktail or a shake. I find it to be a nice feature.

Other than this, one might avail a large variety of appetizers and separate burger dishes if one wants to go for a burger meal. Personally,  I found the burgers here to be decent but maybe not the best feature of the restaurant. There are some vegetarian / non-vegetarian main course items to be had with noodles or rice if one wants to and desserts.

Pricing and Offers:

It being a relatively small place is not really an "offers" kind of place. There is a "specialty of the day" listed on the black board near the counter which goes beyond the menu at some specified prices.

The price for most items for the quantity / quality it offers is quite alright, I would say.

Service:

The service is pretty good, for the relatively new joint that this is.

Highlights:

1) I liked the ambience. Even though the place may not be excessively crowded, the place is done up in a way that makes you feel good about your presence there.

2) I like the somewhat different menu items and even the relatively known ones seem nice. The approach for serving their items is good.

3) One thing is that "Specialty of the Day" doesn't seem to be changed too often. That should ideally be done.

As a kid, when I used to be stubborn about swallowing food, "I'm eating superman food items" was always used as an incentive to make me eat. Now that I'm way older and have found this new Superman's kitchen, it comes across as funny but more importantly, a pretty satisfactory place to dine. I would recommend the place to those interested in this kind of food.
